SDET

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a SDET in Smithfield, RI.

Duties Include:
* Work with your agile delivery team, chapter lead and QA team members to understand domain and accelerate their test automation strategy to enable delivery velocity
* Work in a team of SDET's passionate about automation standard methodologies and building reusable artifacts

REQUIREMENTS:
* A Bachelor's, or Master's, degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
* 10 years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
* 6+ years of software product experience working on commercially available software
* Hands-on experience with crafting and maintaining testing library/frameworks
* Proven experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack using a variety of automation frameworks
* Strong contributor with a harmonious work style, and you enjoy crafting and implementing efficient and effective test strategies
* Expertise with automation scripts using Java or Java Script and experience with Cucumber/BDD
* Good understanding of API testing and familiarity with Rest Assured/Karate for Rest and Soap API
* Experience with SQL writing and querying DBs like Oracle, Snowflake, DB2
* Proven knowledge of CI/CD principles using Jenkins and Git and can make recommendations on how to best include test automation into pipelines
* Proven experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack using a variety of automation frameworks
* Strong contributor with a harmonious work style, and you enjoy crafting and implementing efficient and effective test strategies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
