Senior Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Merrimack, NH.

Duties:
* Work with product owner, squad lead and architecture as required to influence technical improvements to the platform
* Collaborating and coordinating with other squads and chapters
* Develop a keen understanding of the business domain you are working on and actively participate in discussions with business partners and other external parties
* Deliver high quality, timely, well tested, cost effective and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
* Actively work towards engineering practices such as code, design and test reviews, cloud strategy, and build and deployment pipelines

REQUIREMENTS:
* At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of development experience
* Proficient in Java, Serenity Cucumber, Playwright automation
* Jira and Jira Align experience required
* Experience working in an Agile/Kanban squad
* Experience with test automation frameworks
* Experience with handling large data, data analysis
* Proficient in Java, Python, Spring, and RESTful services
* Experience in delivering software in the Agile environment
* Expert level knowledge of SQL, system design, data structures, and algorithms
* Having excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given time
* Thrive in a team environment, collaborating openly and actively help with work being completed
* Ability to act independently under general direction
* Should be a team player
* Should be able to handle millions of data and analyze it efficiently
* You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high risks and high rewards
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines a plus
* Experience working in the financial Industry is a plus
* Experience working in the KDB is a plus
* Experience with a modern UI framework such as React, Angular or Vue is a plus
* Experience AWS, CI/CD, ES6, React or SASS is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
