Job Description:

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering spanning both manual and automated testing landscapes.
• Automation Tooling: Minimum 4 years of deep, hands-on experience building frameworks with Playwright.
• Programming: Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• API Testing: Proficient in API test design and execution (RestAssured, Postman, or native Playwright API testing capabilities).
• CI/CD & DevOps: Strong understanding of Git version control and working knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools.
• Methodologies: Solid grounding in standard software testing methodologies (STLC, black-box, grey-box, and regression testing paradigms).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, sharp eye for detail, and strong communication skills to explain complex test strategies to non-technical stakeholders

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Proficient in API test design and execution (RestAssured, Postman, or native Playwright API testing capabilities).
• Design, scale, and maintain modern end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
• Working knowledge on CI/CD Write clean, modular, and maintainable automation scripts utilizing the Page Object Model (POM) and efficient locator strategies
• Exploratory & Functional Testing: Perform structured exploratory, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on new features where automation is not yet viable.
• Requirements Analysis: Analyze product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create clear, bulletproof manual test cases.
• Defect Management: Track, document, triage, and validate bugs through their entire lifecycle using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Agile Participation: Engage actively in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Grooming, and Retrospectives) to advocate for quality metrics.
• Cross-functional Alignment: Work side-by-side with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps engineers to resolve blockers and accelerate delivery
