We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Asset & Contract Manager to manage IT procurement, vendors, contracts, assets, and related IT services, to work on a team at our client site in Plano, TX.
This role requires bilingual language skills in Korean and English. It is W2 hourly with Roth Staffing (Ledgent Technology & Ultimate Staffing are Roth companies), with all work taking place at our client site.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The company is not able to sponsor employment visas now or in the future.
The rate range is: $25.00 - $31.00
Description:
The role works closely with IT infrastructure teams, procurement, finance, vendors, and business stakeholders to manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware, software, contracts, and services.
The ideal candidate has an IT infrastructure or operations background and experience in IT procurement, vendor management, contract management, IT Asset Management (ITAM), and IT Service Management (ITSM).
Key Responsibilities
IT Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage procurement of IT infrastructure hardware, software, maintenance, and related services.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations and proposals.
- Support vendor selection, onboarding, negotiations, and performance reviews.
- Monitor vendor performance, service levels, contractual commitments, and deliverables.
- Work with IT and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into procurement and vendor requirements.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, vendor consolidation, and purchasing efficiency.
Contract Management
- Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware, software, maintenance, and support contracts.
- Manage contract renewals, extensions, amendments, and terminations.
- Track contract expiration dates, licensing, costs, warranties, and support agreements.
- Maintain proactive renewal schedules to minimize operational and financial risk.
- Work with vendors, procurement, finance, and IT stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms.
- Review contracts for cost-saving and service improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting.
- Ensure contracts align with technology roadmaps, infrastructure lifecycle plans, and business requirements.
IT Asset Management
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets from acquisition through retirement and disposal.
- Maintain accurate asset records, including ownership, location, status, and lifecycle information.
- Track servers, storage, network equipment, end-user devices, software licenses, warranties, and maintenance agreements.
- Perform asset reconciliation and support audits and compliance activities.
- Coordinate technology refresh, replacement, and retirement activities.
- Identify aging, redundant, or underutilized assets and recommend cost-reduction opportunities.
- Ensure asset information is accurately maintained in ITAM/ITSM systems.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, infrastructure operations, ITAM, ITSM, or a related field.
- Experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure and data center environments.
- Experience managing IT hardware/software contracts, maintenance agreements, and renewals.
- Hands-on experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM); knowledge of ITIL practices preferred.
- Experience managing technology vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Understanding of hardware and software lifecycle management.
- Experience working across IT, procurement, finance, vendors, and business teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business, procurement, and vendor requirements.
- Experience with ITSM, ITAM, procurement, contract management, or asset management platforms.
- Fluent written and verbal communication in Korean and English.

Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
- Experience with enterprise software licensing and licensing agreements.
- Experience managing data center infrastructure lifecycles.
- Experience supporting regional or global IT environments.
- Experience with technology refresh and infrastructure modernization programs.
- Experience with vendor contract negotiations and strategic supplier management.
- Experience developing IT asset, vendor, contract, and service management KPIs and dashboards.
- Experience with CMDB/configuration management.
