Job Title: Enterprise Architect

Role Summary

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for establishing, enabling, and governing enterprise architecture practices across a distributed technology landscape. This role partners closely with client Architects, Application Delivery Directors, and cross-functional teams to drive architectural alignment, modernization, and maturity across the organization. The position plays a key role in shaping technology strategy, ensuring consistency across domains, and accelerating delivery through structured architecture and AI-enabled insights.

Scope of Work

• Define and promote enterprise architecture best practices, standards, and governance frameworks across all domains.
• Develop and maintain current-state and future-state architecture blueprints, including comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned to business strategy.
• Assess existing applications and platforms, providing modernization strategies, optimization recommendations, and technical direction.
• Drive the evolution of enterprise architecture maturity through structured frameworks, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI-First tools and methodologies to accelerate architecture design, analysis, and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Data (including AS400), Security, and Application Development teams to ensure end-to-end architectural alignment.
• Enable and support enterprise architecture governance, facilitating shared decision-making and cross-team coordination.
• Ensure cross-domain and cross-system consistency, minimizing redundancy and improving interoperability.
• Provide architectural guidance for system integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Partner with business analysts to align architecture with business capabilities and requirements.
• Contribute to defining and refining architecture principles, standards, and requirements.
• Participate in enterprise-level architecture planning, reviews, and strategic discussions.
• Promote the responsible use of AI as an augmentation tool, ensuring human-led architectural judgment and decision integrity.
