Senior SAP Finance FI Consultant

Position Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Location: Remote with Occasional Onsite Requirements

The Role:

Madiba is currently in search for a SAP Finance FI Consultant for our team. The role will be responsible for supporting and implementing global SAP FICO solutions as well as playing key role as a finance cross-functional lead across multiple workstreams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Senior SAP FI functional experience and excellent understanding of finance business processes
• Knowledge of Accounting/Finance business processes and of SAP FICO integration with AP, AR, GL, AA, BA, SL and other modules
• Experience working with Operations and Finance business stakeholders to manage solution delivery through the development lifecycle, provide training and guidance, and create process and training documents
• Solution designing and support experience in financial reporting, profitability reports and COPA, cost planning and budgeting, costing, integration with MM, SD, PP modules asset accounting, and profit center accounting
• Gather requirements, perform analysis, writing functional specifications, designing and configuring system and, leading training, developing system documentation, and interface solutions
• Perform and lead system testing
• Knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Integration point configuration experience
• Experience with controls-based environment with SOX experience
• Ability to effectively coordinate and manage cross-functional and technical activities with strong negotiation and leadership skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8-10 years relevant experience supporting and implementing global FICO solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems
• Strong Finance focused background within SAP: AP, AR, GL, Banking, Treasury, etc.
• Excellent project and team leadership experiences
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is desired
• CPA, Chartered ACC or related certification a plus
• Certification in SAP FI/CO and other modules is highly desired
