Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an automotive team in Raymond, OH. This role has a hybrid onsite schedule and we are open to local candidates and those who are willing to relocate.

Responsibilities:

Primary focus will be on creating complex 3D drawings/layouts in CATIA V6.
Additional tasks may include styling design feasibility, cost analysis, strength calculations, material selection, part construction, coordinating activities involved in prototyping, fabricating and manufacturing of assigned products and systems.

Requirements:

5+ years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Catia V6 is required.
Understanding automotive development schedules, and automotive electrical or interior components a plus.

Location: Raymond, OH

Duration: 12 months with extension
