What You’ll Do:

Relate Search has partnered with a leading manufacturer in their search for a Manufacturing Supervisor to support operations at their Monroe, Ohio facility. This role is a critical frontline leadership position responsible for driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost while developing and leading high-performing production teams.

This leader will provide hands-on supervision, mentorship, and direction to ensure operational objectives are met while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. The Manufacturing Supervisor will play a key role in aligning daily operations with broader business goals and maintaining a strong, safety-first environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets across safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to frontline employees, ensuring strong team performance and engagement
  • Assess employee capabilities and drive development plans to enhance skillsets and overall effectiveness
  • Champion a strong safety culture, leading investigations and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Adjust workflows, staffing, and processes to meet production schedules and changing business needs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts to build and maintain a high-performing team
  • Lead by example, reinforcing accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of frontline supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently and with urgency
  • Experience working with systems to track, analyze, and report operational data
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
