Title: Program Manager Azure Cost Optimization
Duration: Contract 6 months, possible extension
Location: Toronto, ON- 5X/Month Onsite Wednesday s Onsite and Every month 3rd Friday
Shift/Core Hours: 37.5 Hours
Comp: $60-$70/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Interview Process: Panel interview, one-round, in-person Wednesday
Must Haves:
- Proven experience as a Senior Program Manager / Program Lead leading large-scale cloud, infrastructure, or technology transformation programs working closely with Infrastructure and Engineering teams
- Solid understanding of Azure and cloud concepts; does not need to be hands-on technical but must understand engineering terminology and how cloud programs are delivered
- Familiarity with Azure migration concepts and cloud infrastructure components (VNETs, subnets, networking, cloud services, etc.)
- Experience driving complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and competing priorities - lead discussions, influence decisions, and hold teams accountable for delivery
- Strong governance, executive communication, financial management, RAID management, and portfolio reporting experience
- Ability to clearly articulate ownership of complex programs and the specific outcomes they personally drove
Nice to Have:
- Azure migration, cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, or cloud cost optimization experience
- Previous engineering or infrastructure background
- Financial services / banking experience
- Experience operating within enterprise governance and risk frameworks
- Exposure to portfolio management and executive steering committees
