Salesforce CPQ Developer

Job Summary:
Conglomerate IT is seeking a hands-on Senior Salesforce Developer (CPQ) to drive a large-scale digital transformation initiative built around Sales Cloud. This is a deeply technical, build-focused role centered on writing production-grade Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), owning Salesforce CPQ customization, and developing the REST API integrations that connect Salesforce to the wider business. We're looking for a seasoned engineer who is equally comfortable working "under the hood" in Apex and navigating complex CPQ logic - independent, quality-driven, and effective in a fully remote team. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their skills through a live coding exercise in Lightning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, and JavaScript.

• Own the customization and implementation of Salesforce CPQ to support complex pricing and business-rule requirements.

• Design and manage REST API integrations between Salesforce and external business systems.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into well-architected technical solutions.

• Uphold engineering standards across coding, unit testing, and deployment cycles.

• Provide technical guidance on Sales Cloud architecture and JavaScript-based component design.

• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery through release.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of hands-on Apex and LWC development, in a senior capacity with recent, heavy build work.

• 2+ years actively developing, customizing, and implementing Salesforce CPQ.

• 4+ years building REST API integrations, backed by strong JavaScript fundamentals.

• Willingness to complete a live coding exercise in Lightning during the interview.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Billing implementation experience.

• Platform Developer II and/or CPQ Specialist certification.

• Experience with Sales Cloud architecture.

• Advanced JavaScript proficiency.

Work Arrangement & Eligibility:

• Fully remote within the US.

Interview Process:

• Typically two rounds, including a live, hands-on coding evaluation in Lightning.
