We're looking for a motivated Commercial Security System Installation & Service Technician to join our team. What You'll Do

As a Security System Installation & Service Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality security solutions to our commercial customers. Your work will include:

Essential Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain access control systems, electronic door hardware, and related equipment
• Install, service, and maintain CCTV systems and various camera technologies
• Install, service, and maintain cable pathway systems supporting security and network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide customer-focused solutions
• Maintain and care for company-owned tools, vehicles, and equipment
• Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced service environment
• Follow all company safety guidelines and best practices
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within a team-centered environment

Top Skills We're Looking For

• Programming and system configuration (security systems)
• CCTV installation & service
• General installation and low-voltage service experience

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in commercial access control
• Exposure to electrified hardware installation
• Prior field service or technical support experience

• Ability to read and work from measurements using tape measures, levels, and standard installation tools

• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed (including evenings, weekends, or occasional overnights)
• Comfort working at heights using ladders or aerial lifts
• Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with customers
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to understand and follow detailed technical instructions

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
