Position Title:              Data Governance Analyst Level III

Position Summary

The Data Governance Analyst II is responsible for leading the implementation and execution of enterprise data governance practices, with a primary focus on Informatica data governance solutions. This role drives the definition, adoption, and enforcement of data standards, policies, and ownership across the organization, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accountability to support business operations and analytics.

Job Responsibilities & Experience:

·         Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or data analysis

·         Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Governance tools (e.g., EDC, CDGC) or similar platforms

·         Lead implementation of Informatica data governance tools and frameworks, including data catalog, lineage, and governance workflows.

·         Partner with business stakeholders to define data ownership, data standards, and governance policies across key data domains.

·         Facilitate discussions with cross-functional teams to establish data definitions, rules, and stewardship responsibilities.

·         Drive alignment across stakeholders and resolve conflicts related to data definitions, ownership, and governance priorities.

·         Establish and monitor data governance processes, including data quality controls, issue management, and compliance tracking.

·         Support data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage initiatives to improve transparency and usability.

·         Define and enforce data governance frameworks, including roles, responsibilities, and operating models.

·         Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Salesforce, cloud platforms)

·         Analyze data issues and recommend corrective actions to improve data quality and consistency across systems.

·         Document governance policies, standards, and procedures to support organizational adoption and audit readiness.

·         Promote a culture of data accountability and continuous improvement across business and technical teams.

·         Experience or exposure to AI, Generative AI, and data governance technologies, with an understanding of their application in data quality, metadata management, and governance initiatives.

Education

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Skills

• Informatica Data Governance tools (EDC, CD Axon or equivalent)
• SQL (for data analysis and validation) & Enterprise systems (SAP, Workday, Salesforce)
• Knowledge of AI and Generative AI applications for data governance, data quality, and compliance.

Licenses and Certifications

Informatica, data governance, or data management certifications (e.g., CDMP, DAMA) are a plus
