We are seeking a Senior Process Improvement Manager to lead enterprise-wide process transformation initiatives within an IT and operations environment. This role will focus on evaluating current-state workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and designing optimized future-state processes aligned with digital modernization efforts.
The ideal candidate is a Six Sigma Black Belt with strong experience leading cross-functional process redesign initiatives, facilitating stakeholder workshops, and translating business improvements into clear functional and non-functional system requirements. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong executive communication skills and the ability to drive measurable operational impact.

Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end reviews of business processes across departments
- Engage stakeholders to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
- Document and analyze current-state (As-Is) workflows
- Design optimized future-state (To-Be) processes and transition plans
- Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis (e.g., Fishbone, Pareto)
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Translate optimized processes into functional and non-functional system requirements
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to align process improvements with system capabilities
- Facilitate workshops, process mapping sessions, and working groups
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure impact and ROI
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership
qualifications:
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in process engineering, business process improvement, or operations optimization
- 5+ years of experience evaluating current-state processes and designing optimized future-state solutions
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification (required)
- Proven experience leading enterprise-level process transformation initiatives
- Strong experience documenting As-Is and To-Be workflows
- Experience translating business processes into functional and non-functional system requirements
- Proficiency with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio)
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and executive communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite capacity in Austin, TX
Preferred
- Experience in regulated or government environments
- Familiarity with low-code or process automation platforms
- Lean certification
