We are seeking a Senior SDET (Java) with strong experience in test automation frameworks, API testing, and performance testing. This role requires hands-on technical expertise along with leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks using Java/JavaScript
Build and maintain automation for CI/CD pipelines
Develop and execute API automation frameworks and test scripts
Create test strategies, test plans, and automation scenarios
Lead and mentor QA engineers across onshore and offshore teams
Collaborate with product owners and developers to resolve issues and improve functionality
Perform manual and exploratory testing when required
Develop performance testing scenarios using JMeter
Ensure quality through best practices in testing methodologies and standards
Required Skills:
8–10 years of experience in QA/Test Automation
Strong experience in:
Java (3–5 years)
BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave, etc.)
Extensive experience designing test automation frameworks
Strong experience in REST API testing
Hands-on experience with:
JMeter (performance testing)
SQL / relational databases
Experience with:
Full-stack and integration testing (3rd party systems)
End-to-end system testing
Preferred Skills:
Python experience
AWS / Cloud exposure
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)
DevOps practices
API gateways (Apigee or similar)
Agile/Scrum experience
Microservices architecture understanding
