Desktop Support Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide dependable end-user technology support for a transport organization based in Tempe, Arizona. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong technical troubleshooting skills with a service-oriented approach and can support desktop environments in a fast-moving enterprise setting. The role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable workstation operations, resolving technical issues efficiently, and partnering with internal teams to improve the overall user support experience.

Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on support for desktop and workstation issues, including diagnosis, repair, setup, and ongoing maintenance for end-user devices.
Administer and troubleshoot Windows-based environments, user accounts, permissions, and related configurations across enterprise systems.
Support desktop deployment activities such as imaging, installation, upgrade coordination, and replacement of hardware and software assets.
Investigate and resolve incidents involving Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, email access, and other business-critical desktop tools.
Configure and maintain desktop connectivity settings to ensure reliable access to network resources and company systems.
Communicate technical guidance and security-related practices in a clear manner to employees with varying levels of technical understanding.
Collaborate with IT operations teams and business stakeholders to address recurring issues, improve service delivery, and support operational priorities.
Manage multiple support requests simultaneously, adjust to shifting demands, and apply sound judgment when determining issue severity and next steps.

Requirements

Strong practical experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems in an enterprise environment.
Working knowledge of Active Directory, including user administration and environment support tasks.
Experience with desktop hardware troubleshooting, workstation support, and resolution of end-user technical issues.
Familiarity with desktop imaging processes and device deployment best practices.
Proficiency supporting Microsoft Outlook, Office applications, and Office 365 services.
Understanding of Windows networking fundamentals and common connectivity troubleshooting methods.
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users and maintain effective working relationships across teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks independently in a fast-paced support environment.
