Overview
Mako's client, a rapidly growing logistics organization, is seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Developer / Solution Consultant to lead the redesign and rebuild of their Dynamics 365 CRM environment. The organization has established its future-state CRM vision and business processes and is looking for a hands-on consultant who can architect, build, and deploy a brand-new Dynamics instance while modernizing the platform with Microsoft's latest AI and Copilot capabilities.
This consultant will play a critical role in designing and implementing a clean, scalable CRM environment from the ground up, migrating relevant data from the current Dynamics instance, and helping the business leverage Microsoft's AI-powered automation tools and agents. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical Dynamics 365 expertise with strong solution architecture capabilities and the ability to operate independently without extensive oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of a new Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM environment.
- Architect and build a scalable CRM solution aligned with the organization's future-state business processes.
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 entities, forms, views, workflows, business rules, and security models.
- Design and implement document repositories, data structures, and CRM infrastructure components.
- Develop and automate business processes using Power Automate, Dynamics workflows, and modern Microsoft automation tools.
- Migrate relevant data from the existing Dynamics 365 environment into the newly developed platform.
- Design and deploy AI-driven capabilities leveraging Microsoft Copilot and associated AI agents.
- Create and optimize automated document management, activity management, and approval workflows.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable CRM solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and best practices around Dynamics architecture, governance, and long-term maintainability.
- Work alongside existing internal development resources and provide architectural guidance where needed.
- Participate in Agile development sprints and manage assigned deliverables from design through deployment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Customer Engagement (CE) experience.
- Proven experience designing and building Dynamics environments from the ground up.
- Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and development.
- Experience with CRM data migration strategies and execution.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate.
- Experience developing workflow automation and business process flows.
- Strong understanding of CRM architecture, data modeling, and solution design.
- Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with Microsoft AI, Copilot, or automation technologies.
- Ability to work independently and provide both technical execution and strategic direction.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot for Dynamics 365.
- Experience deploying Microsoft AI agents and intelligent automation capabilities.
- Experience with Power Apps, Dataverse, and Azure integrations.
- Familiarity with modern Microsoft cloud technologies and architecture best practices.
- Previous experience supporting logistics, transportation, supply chain, or operational environments.
- Experience mentoring developers and providing solution architecture leadership.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications preferred.
