S2CO, Space Ground & Comm Systems Engineering Team! Mission Solutions develops, delivers, and operates

affordable engineering and sustainment solutions for commercial, military and intelligence users across the

globe. These mission critical efforts include development of innovative enterprise, cloud and application-based

solutions for mission management, command and control, collection orchestration and tasking, processing, data

analysis and analytics along with premier operations and sustainment capabilities of space-based programs in

support of national security.

This position is for a Systems Engineer to join the System Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) team,

supporting the Stormbreaker program. This person will become a member of our test and environment

engineering teams to support our environment checkout and deployment activities. The candidate will need to

have an understanding of test automation tools and paradigms, as well as experience with software development,

integration & test, and scripting.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements

for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications

Prior work experience with software, information management, or communication systems

Prior experience performing system engineering, test, or analysis in a medium to large scale system

Active or Current TS/SCI required. ship is required

Desired skills

Prior experience performing integration activities on a large-scale system

Prior experience working in a classified environment

Prior experience with configuration management
deployment strategies and tools (GibLab, Rancher, Nexus)

Prior experience with Virtual Machines (VMs), including architecture / configuration

Ability to troubleshoot issues and navigate operating system across multiple environments (i.e. Windows, LINUX)

Proficiency with Agile development tools, techniques and associated business rhythms

Experience executing in a Cloud and/or data center driven ASP/ISP environment construct

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively across multiple teams

Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills

CompTIA Security+ Certification
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $102,800 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
