Job Details

Position Summary
The IT Support & Project Specialist provides advanced IT support for a fast-growing veterinary clinic organization. This role serves as the primary point for IT issues and plays a key role in supporting the IT planning and execution of new Arista Hospital openings.

This position will work in-office Monday-Friday with occasional travel to support our new location openings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full support for hardware, software, network printer, phone, and all other systems issues.
  • Serve as an escalation point for unresolved technical incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Lead IT planning, setup, and go-live support for new hospital openings.
  • Coordinate IT site readiness, including network installation, cabling, hardware deployment, and vendor support.
  • Partner with Operations, Construction, and Clinical teams to align timelines and technical requirements.
  • Maintain system performance, reliability, and security across all clinic locations.
  • Assist with infrastructure management, including firewalls, CCTV, switches, wireless networks, and VoIP systems.
  • Support patching, updates, and system hardening in alignment with security best practices.
  • Participate in IT projects related to system upgrades, standardization, and scalability initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base resources.
  • Support continuous improvement of IT processes and service delivery.

Qualifications
  • 5-7+ years of IT support experience with advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows environments, networking, and endpoint management.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or distributed organizations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel for new site deployments.
  • Healthcare or veterinary IT experience is a plus.
  • Project coordination or technology rollout experience preferred.
