Duration: 12 months (strong possibility for extension)

About the job:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer on the Onboarding and Activation team, you will build highly scalable customer-facing and back-end applications. Your work will directly focus on driving user-centricity, reducing time-to-market, and increasing overall engineering efficiency.

You will join a team that shares a passion for technology, innovation, and excellence. We operate in a fast-paced environment where embracing change and navigating ambiguity are key to success. You will work alongside seasoned engineers to maintain all aspects of the software development lifecycle, heavily utilizing a Test-Driven Development and Continuous Integration approach to ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of software releases.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate seamlessly with architects, business partners, product owners, and technical leads to define Agile stories and plan long-term product roadmaps.
  • Lead the design and implementation of new features, capabilities, and complex bug fixes.
  • Provide technical leadership by conducting thorough design and code reviews, and by mentoring junior staff to help them achieve their career goals.
  • Develop internal tools and engineering practices that increase the efficiency and operational output of your team.
  • Drive automated deployment strategies, API test automation, and robust session state management solutions across distributed environments.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in full-stack application development.
  • Experience with back-end technologies including .NET, .NET Core, C#, and RESTful API design.
  • Experience with front-end technologies and concepts, including Angular, AngularJS, ASP.NET, JSON/XML, and asynchronous services.
  • Experience working with relational database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle).
  • Experience in hands-on coding, unit testing, and production troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with distributed monolithic architectures and cloud-based microservices (e.g., Platform-as-a-Service, Cloud Foundry).
  • Deep understanding of event-driven application development, web configuration, deployment strategies, security, performance tuning, and session state management.
  • Proven experience mentoring junior developers and providing technical direction to engineering teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with industry-standard issue tracking and version control tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git-based platforms).
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
