Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Managing a diverse caseload of personal injury claims, with a focus on medical malpractice.
- Leading case preparation for trial, including conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and negotiating settlements.
- Providing superior client service through regular client communication, including updating clients on case progress and strategy.
- Collaborating with medical experts and other professionals to strengthen case evidence and testimony.
- Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments on their behalf.
- Continually staying abreast of developments in personal injury and medical malpractice law to ensure the firm's practices are up-to-date and effective.
Qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A current license to practice law in New York.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Attorney.
- Proven success in achieving favorable settlements and verdicts in personal injury and medical malpractice cases.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients in high-stress situations.
- The ability to manage a significant caseload, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
