  • Lead clinical evaluation and decision-making for EHR content and clinical decision support to reduce physician burden and optimize care delivery.
  • Facilitate consensus-building sessions across clinical departments to reach agreement on standardized Epic builds and workflows.
  • Serve as a liaison between Information Technology and clinical/operational teams; translate clinical requirements into build-ready specifications.
  • Develop and maintain prioritized merge deliverables; distinguish critical-path requirements from elective build requests and support scope control.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and clinical impacts of technical constraints; communicate tradeoffs and mitigation options to stakeholders.
  • Support data governance and content stewardship to maintain alignment with safety, quality, regulatory, and operational standards.
  • Leverage institutional knowledge of PennChart and legacy eHealth workflows to reduce rework and accelerate decision-making.
  • Provide milestone-based support aligned to project phases, with flexible effort scaling (0.2-0.5 FTE) as needed.
  • Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization.

Credentials:

  • A board-certified or board-eligible physician (MD, DO) is preferred; active or former clinical practice acceptable per role design.
