Short Description

To work collaboratively with internal and external team members to assess, plan, develop and deliver innovative solutions in a complex healthcare IT environment, utilizing clinical and technical expertise and tenets of process improvement to improve patient outcomes, clinician efficiency and satisfaction and to achieve the organization's goals.

Participates in all aspects of planning, design, development, training, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of existing or new functionality related to Health IT and Informatics in all clinical settings
Analyzes current and future state workflows and develop solutions while working collaboratively with key stakeholders.
Identify and implement innovative processes, workflows and technology to meet organizational goals.
Participates in various clinical councils and committees, providing clinical and technical expertise to drive changes in the organization
Identifies KPI's and assists in developing tools for monitoring and continual process improvement
Interacts with all clinical and technical staff and serves as the liaison for clinical computation and workflow/technical architecture
Ability to be involved in multiple projects and prioritize and escalate barriers.
Actively participates in supporting and mentoring other team members in informatics and health IT related initiatives, providing expertise, experience and guidance for projects

Experience Required

6-10 Years Required

Experience must be clinical and/or informatics related

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree

RN preferred
In lieu of bachelor's degree, 6-10years of relevant experience required

License/Certification Requirements

Epic certification: Certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire
RN license Preferred
