Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced
Security Service Technician to join a team that values people, service excellence, and long-term growth. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer support by responding to service calls, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting security systems, and assisting with small installation projects.
Technicians are expected to act as a trusted service provider at all times, ensuring customers receive reliable, timely, and effective support.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to routine, non-routine, emergency, and after-hours service calls in a timely manner
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace components in malfunctioning security systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems
- Install small or less complex security projects as needed
- Use strong troubleshooting skills to isolate and resolve equipment or software issues
- Analyze repair needs and recommend appropriate solutions to customers
- Complete accurate and detailed service documentation for invoicing and job cost tracking
- Assist with system upgrades, audits, integrations, and consultations when required
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company safety policies
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall service operations
- Cross-train with other specialists to support customers and expand technical capabilities
- Perform system checkout, testing, maintenance, and repairs on new and existing installations
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Additional Qualifications- Strong customer focus and ability to perform well under pressure
- Solid technical experience with electronic security and/or fire alarm systems
- Programming experience and proven troubleshooting ability
- Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude; comfortable using hand and power tools (drill, wire stripper, crimper, etc.)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel locally to job sites on a regular basis; minimal overnight travel may be required
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
