About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced
Service Technician to perform routine and emergency service calls on a wide range of security systems. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment while providing exceptional customer support. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge, professionalism, and the ability to work independently.

What You'll Do- Perform routine and emergency on-site service calls.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and training to junior technicians or trainees.
- Deliver high-quality customer support and instruction on system operations.
- Conduct system testing and signal verification.
- Maintain proper truck stock, inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Utilize technical resources and materials to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure timely completion and documentation of all service-related activities.
- Provide accurate documentation of service performed and hours worked.
- Complete additional assignments and projects as needed.

QualificationsQSYS Systems - Must have hands-on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting QSYS equipment.
Multi-Meter Proficiency - Must be able to use a multimeter to trace issues, diagnose faults, and verify electrical readings accurately.
Reliable Transportation - Must have a dependable personal vehicle to travel between job sites as required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in security system service and repair.
- Mastery-level knowledge of troubleshooting commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
- Strong understanding of local and national code requirements.
- Proficient with test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters.
- Valid driver's license; and reliable transportation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and written procedures in English.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Physical RequirementsThis job requires the ability to:
- Stand, walk, sit, twist, crawl, climb, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and reach.
- Use vision for close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color perception.
- Work in challenging environments (ladders, scaffolding, high-lift equipment, attics, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.).
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Travel on short notice and work variable hours, including on-call shifts.
- Operate a motor vehicle for extended periods during the day or evening.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
