Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Application Analyst III to support commercial lending technology applications and business processes. The role focuses on application configuration, workflow implementation, and ongoing support for commercial lending platforms. The analyst will partner with business stakeholders to define workflows, implement process improvements, and ensure systems support operational objectives. A strong background with core banking platforms is beneficial.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide support for commercial lending applications including loan origination and credit management platforms.

  • Configure and maintain application workflows, system settings, and operational processes.

  • Monitor system performance and perform troubleshooting, testing, and issue resolution.

  • Assess application functionality with users and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Support releases, upgrades, patches, and enhancements.

  • Analyze system logic and recommend improvements or fixes.

  • Gather requirements with stakeholders and translate needs into system configurations or enhancements.

  • Define workflows and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.

  • Communicate technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Assist business teams with training materials and updated procedures for system changes.

  • Collaborate with vendors to implement and maintain third-party solutions.

  • Support integrations with core banking and enterprise platforms using best practices for APIs and connectivity.

  • Produce and maintain technical, process, compliance, and audit documentation, including SOX support.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



  • 5+ years supporting Commercial Loan Origination Systems or commercial lending technology.

  • Experience in banking or financial services.

  • Background supporting or integrating with core banking systems.

  • Ability to analyze business processes and implement workflow improvements.

  • Direct experience gathering requirements and implementing solutions with business stakeholders.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with commercial lending platforms such as Abrigo, LaserPro, or CML.

  • Experience with core banking systems such as Fiserv Signature (FIS) or similar.

  • Knowledge of third-party integrations and API implementation.

  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.


Additional Information:



  • Schedule: 100% onsite, five days per week. Onsite only.

  • Ability to travel or stay overnight occasionally if required.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
