Project Manager – Global Commercial IT Systems
Location: Rochester / Victor, NY
Work Arrangement: Onsite – 5 days/week
Duration: 4-6 months initially, with potential for extension

Position Overview
- We are seeking a strong Project Manager with proven experience leading global enterprise IT programs, particularly within the Commercial / Commercial IT space.
- The ideal candidate will have successfully managed multiple concurrent global initiatives involving platform engineering, system integrations, incident management, release management, and Agile delivery. Experience supporting global commercial systems, including eCommerce, CRM/CLM, Veeva PromoMats, and global ERP/EDI rollouts, is highly desirable.
- The customer strongly prefers a local Rochester/Victor, NY candidate who can work onsite from the client office five days per week initially.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent global Commercial IT programs and projects.
- Drive end-to-end project delivery from planning through implementation and stabilization.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, IT, engineering, vendors, and global stakeholders.
- Manage system integrations, platform engineering, incident management, and release management activities.
- Drive Agile delivery, including sprint planning, backlog management, status reporting, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Partner closely with Commercial business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure successful technology delivery.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
- Coordinate global rollouts and ensure effective communication across geographically distributed teams.
- Work with technical teams and business stakeholders to resolve project issues and remove delivery roadblocks.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Support transition, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Project Manager / IT Project Manager managing enterprise technology programs.
- Proven experience delivering global IT projects/programs with multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Strong experience in Commercial IT / Commercial systems.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing integrations, releases, incidents, and enterprise application implementations.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- Veeva PromoMats / Veeva Commercial applications
- CRM / CLM
- eCommerce platforms
- Global ERP implementations / rollouts
- EDI / enterprise integrations
- Commercial business processes and systems
- Global platform engineering initiatives
- Large-scale enterprise application deployments
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be someone who has:
- Led multiple concurrent global enterprise IT programs.
- Delivered projects within a Commercial or Commercial IT environment.
- Worked with global business and technology stakeholders.
- Managed complex integrations and enterprise system rollouts.
- Strong project governance and Agile delivery experience.
