Job Description:
Pay Range: $51.98hr - $56.98hr
  • The Learning Specialist/Trainer II collaborates with business leaders and the People and Culture community to assess development needs and identify sustainable learning solutions aligned with performance gaps.
  • This role designs and delivers learning initiatives, manages assigned programs and learning journeys, supports global learning alignment, and facilitates high-quality training sessions.
  • The position also oversees program communications, budgets, facilitator management, and external partner coordination to ensure effective and consistent learning delivery.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with senior business stakeholders to influence and act as a credible business partner at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with adult education methodology within a learning and development function and/or relevant business experience in a matrixed organization.
  • Understanding of the 3E s model (Education, Exposure, Experience) in development and learning settings.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft applications for virtual and live training, including Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in facilitating both virtual and in-person training sessions.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business leaders and People and Culture partners to assess development needs and link performance gaps to required skills.
  • Identify and implement sustainable learning solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Engage internal resources to ensure consistency and minimize unnecessary external spending.
  • Connect the business with appropriate learning institutes and resources.
  • Contribute to the design of local learning solutions when global solutions are not available.
  • Inform global teams of North America development needs in partnership with leadership.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned programs and learning journeys.
  • Plan and implement the quarterly training schedule based on anticipated demand.
  • Ensure coverage of scheduled sessions by securing facilitators for open enrollment and team sessions.
  • Manage the facilitator pool, including identification, certification, and tracking.
  • Increase awareness and utilization of programs through effective communication and promotion.
  • Manage the budget for assigned programs in partnership with department leadership.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy of instructor-led programs in learning systems.
  • Assess training evaluation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to global redesigns and enhancements of programs using adult learning standards.
  • Oversee external partners to ensure timely and high-quality session delivery.
  • Facilitate upskilling sessions for open enrollment and intact teams to the highest standard.
  • Travel up to 10% as required within the United States and Canada.

  • Proven communication and engagement skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management and conflict resolution in group dynamics.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and matrixed environment.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Science or a related field.
