Summary

Role:Splunk Admin
location:St. Louis, MO


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor Splunk environments, including system health, performance, indexing, and search operations.

  • Maintain Splunk dashboards, searches, alerts, data inputs, and access controls.

  • Support data onboarding and troubleshoot log ingestion issues.

  • Work with Cribl Stream to manage data routing, filtering, enrichment, and pipelines.

  • Troubleshoot logging issues across data sources, Cribl, and Splunk.

  • Perform Linux system administration, service monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Maintain logging and monitoring configurations to support compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth platform operations.

  • Participate in scheduled maintenance activities and occasional after-hours support.

Required Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise or Splunk Cloud.

  • Knowledge of Splunk searches, dashboards, alerts, indexing, and forwarders.

  • Familiarity with Linux administration and troubleshooting.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
