Role: Enterprise Data Architect

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-wide data architecture strategies across key business domains such as customer, consumer, manufacturing, and supply chain. The role focuses on aligning data strategy with business goals, enabling advanced analytics and AI capabilities, and ensuring scalable, secure, and standardized data ecosystems across the enterprise.
Role Summary:
The Enterprise Data Architect will be responsible for shaping and governing the overall data architecture vision across the organization. This includes defining standards, frameworks, and roadmaps that support modern data platforms, analytics, and AI-driven transformation. The role requires strong collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into robust and scalable data solutions while ensuring governance, compliance, and architectural integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and maintain enterprise data architecture principles, standards, and long-term architecture roadmaps
- Architect end-to-end data solutions covering data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and AI/ML workloads
- Collaborate with business leaders, data teams, and technology stakeholders to convert business strategy into scalable architecture solutions
- Lead architectural governance across multiple enterprise programs and initiatives
- Establish and enforce standards for data integration, Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data quality
- Assess, select, and standardize enterprise cloud data and analytics platforms
- Ensure data solutions comply with security, privacy, regulatory, and resiliency requirements
- Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency in data processes and platform operations
- Introduce and implement emerging technologies and innovative architecture patterns to enhance enterprise capabilities
Technology Stack (Indicative):
- Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure
- Data Platforms: Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks
- Architecture Approaches: Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Event-Driven Architecture
- Integration & Streaming: Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, API Management solutions
- BI & Analytics Tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker
- Data Governance & Security: Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Identity & Access Management (IAM), encryption frameworks
AI & Advanced Analytics (Preferred Skills):
- Design enterprise-scale AI and advanced analytics architectures
- Hands-on experience with ML platforms, MLOps pipelines, and AI lifecycle governance
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and responsible AI implementation practices
- Apply AI/ML solutions to business domains such as demand planning, customer analytics, smart manufacturing, and supply chain optimization
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 12–16+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture roles
- Strong domain experience in customer, manufacturing, or supply chain environments
- Proven ability to lead architecture governance and influence senior stakeholders across business and IT
