IT Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
• Manage computer systems including desktops, laptops, and peripherals across different operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware components, operating systems, and software applications like Microsoft Office suite.
• Support computer networking tasks including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewall configurations, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Utilize help desk tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, or similar platforms to track incidents, requests, and resolutions systematically.
• Assist with IT infrastructure maintenance by managing servers, switches, routers, and other network devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular software troubleshooting to resolve issues related to operating systems or applications swiftly while maintaining high customer service standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in providing IT support in a fast-paced environment with a focus on desktop support and help desk operations.
• Strong knowledge of computer management practices including hardware installation, software deployment, and system updates.
• Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server environments), macOS, and Linux distributions.
• Hands-on experience with computer networking concepts like LAN setup, VPN access, firewall management, and troubleshooting connectivity problems.
• Experience working with IT support ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira; familiarity with BMC Remedy is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
