Job DescriptionYou will be the Systems Engineer Sr for the Engineering and Technology Organization which is responsible for turning visionary aircraft concepts into operational reality.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Systems Engineer Sr you will be responsible for providing systems-engineering integration and test support across the full life-cycle of aircraft simulation systems, from concept design through production and delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:- Provide integration and test support for aircraft simulation systems and subsystems.
- Develop, test, and maintain simulation capabilities throughout concept, design, and production phases.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines, suppliers, and end-users to ensure complete requirement coverage.
- Generate verification and validation plans using industry-standard requirement formulation, decomposition, flow-down, and traceability.
- Support weapons-systems capability integration and overall project readiness.

Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or 7+ equivalent experience.
Experience with networking as well as systems test and integration.
Desired skills IT experience (especially data center and/or help desk/troubleshooting)
Troubleshooting skills
Willingness to work on a small team and fix issues with little help/guidance
Network Engineering experience
Windows and Windows Server experience
Familiarity with Linux and Linux Servers
DoD 8140 Certifications
Cisco/Juniper certifications
Windows and Linux certifications

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
