Summary

Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Boise, ID
Duration: 12+ months

Hybrid-  2 days onsite in a week

Proficiency in inventory management software and database systems.
Skill in data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
Skill in analyzing inventory data and identifying discrepancies.
Customer service skills for supporting internal stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Abilities
Ability to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.
Ability to perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions regarding inventory control.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, and stakeholders.
Ability to learn and adapt to new inventory systems, technologies, and procedures.
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information appropriately.
Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory items in accordance with safety guidelines.
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions.
Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and inventory management standards.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


Required Skill:
Knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of warehouse operations, receiving, storage, and distribution processes.
Knowledge of inventory control systems, asset tracking methods, and recordkeeping practices.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Knowledge of workplace safety practices related to inventory handling and storage.
Knowledge of data entry and keeping excel sheets up to date.
Knowledge of auditing and inventory reconciliation procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical in this role.
