Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support a suite of mission-critical enterprise applications used by a large, distributed organization. This role is highly hands-on and focuses on production support, incident resolution, and system reliability within a complex, data-driven environment. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, collaborating across technical teams, and working in an operational support model.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting production systems in a Level 1 / Level 2 support capacity
  • Strong incident management and problem-resolution skills
  • Solid SQL/querying experience across enterprise databases
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • This position includes participation in rotational shift coverage and on-call support, including occasional evenings or weekends.


In this role, you'll serve as a key point of contact for application support and operational stability. You'll investigate issues, analyze root causes, and work closely with engineering and business partners to keep systems running smoothly.

You will:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and infrastructure incidents in a high-availability environment
  • Analyze complex data and system behaviors to identify patterns, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to address production issues and implement solutions
  • Contribute to system monitoring, health checks, and testing efforts
  • Create and maintain clear technical and process documentation
  • Help improve operational processes to increase efficiency and reduce recurring issues
  • Develop a strong understanding of interconnected systems and business workflows
Technical Environment

The environment includes a mix of cloud and enterprise technologies. Experience does not need to be exact, but familiarity with similar tools is important.

Examples include:
  • Cloud services and distributed architectures (AWS preferred)
  • Relational and analytical databases
  • Messaging, orchestration, and monitoring tools
  • Containerized and server-based application platforms
  • Agile delivery and collaboration tools
