  • Collaborate strategically with client and partner teams to align technical solutions with business and delivery objectives.
  • Lead platform engineering best practices by establishing CI/CD patterns, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates, and reusable "golden-path" repositories.
  • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD automation, GitHub Actions, and DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Advocate for and implement DevSecOps, GitOps (EPLX), and DORA metrics with a strong focus on Python and Conda-based workflows.
  • Contribute to and engage with open-source ecosystems, including Conda-Forge and the Pixi package manager.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, consulting, education, training, or military service.
  • 6+ years of professional Python development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Open-source contributions (e.g., Conda-Forge, Pixi Package Manager).
    • CI/CD automation and GitHub Actions.
    • DevOps practices and tooling.
    • Infrastructure automation and scripting.
  • 6+ years of experience in each of the following:
    • Python automation and scripting
    • DevOps (CI/CD) environments
    • GitHub and source control workflows
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies.
  • 4-6 years of experience with advanced Python coding and Python libraries.
  • 2-4 years of experience applying Python to data or machine-learning-related workloads.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native delivery models, security-first engineering, and scalable platform design.
