Program Manager

Location: Englewood, Colorado (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

This position serves as a Delivery Anchor, acting as the primary liaison between onshore technical anchors and offshore scrum teams. The role focuses on active delivery for complex, enterprise-wide IT programs, ensuring that committed roadmaps are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, orchestrate results to achieve broad program goals, and ensure governance controls are in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the anchor and primary liaison between onshore technical anchors and offshore scrum teams.
  • Manage the delivery for complex or enterprise-wide IT programs consisting of multiple projects.
  • Ensure resources and teams can take on work, and that work is scoped and prioritized correctly.
  • Identify, report, and mitigate delivery risks early in the process.
  • Manage 2-3 Scrum teams, facilitating communication and coordination among projects.
  • Support delivery across both Account Support & Onboarding and technical Platform portfolios.
  • Define and report on program roadmaps, status, development issues, and success metrics.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
  • 10+ years of program management experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience working with and coordinating onshore and offshore scrum teams.
  • Strong background in Agile, Scrum, and Release Train Engineer (RTE) methodologies.
  • Experience managing roadmaps, prioritization, scoping, and effort estimation.
  • A sufficient software development background to communicate credibly with technical teams.

Technical Skills:
  • Solid understanding and proficiency with Jira.

Professional Skills:
  • Ability to work earlier hours (approximately 7am-3pm) to align with offshore teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities effectively.
  • Proactive communication style with a focus on transparency and early risk identification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scrum certification and direct RTE experience are preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this position is $45.00/hr to $60.00/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, experience, and skills.
