Project Manager

Job Description

Belcan is seeking a full-time Technical Project Manager to work at the customer site in Springdale, OH. This will require a good technical knowledge (preferably mechanical engineering background) to interface with various stakeholders from engineering to technicians and leadership. This will require a good project management skill set along with the ability to lead a team of people up to 40. Experience with grit blasting knowledge and processes is desired.

Able to support and lead portions of the STAC-specific operating cadence:
* 1x/week external shop/vendor meetings.
* 1x/week internal program reviews (strategic).
* 2x/week internal project reviews (tactical).
* Operating cadence is leveraged to solve most execution problems and roadblocks.

Required Qualifications:

* BS in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related)
* 5-10 years' experience
* Project management experience including but not limited to scheduling, team leadership, cross functional communication, quality processes, risk, metric tracking, executive communication
* Organizational - Can understand the details about project tasks that need to happen.
* Communication - Able to articulate those details to the project team (technicians, engineers, leadership, external vendors) effectively.
* Leadership - Can drive the team forward and take action to resolve issues that arise on the project.
* Independent - Able to run the project(s) effectively with a limited amount of time spent with customer guidance (does not need to immediately escalate most problems).
* Have enough technical understanding to effectively work with engineering professionals.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

* Grit blasting process knowledge is a plus
* Smart Sheet knowledge
* MS project knowledge

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $85,000-$90,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
