Infrastructure Architect

Introduction

We are seeking an accomplished Infrastructure Architect with 15+ years of experience in designing, managing, and modernizing enterprise-scale IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across compute, storage, networking, hosting services, security, and cloud platforms, with a strong ability to align infrastructure strategy with business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive modernization, optimize costs, and ensure high availability, scalability, and security across IT systems.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture

• Lead design, implementation, and governance of enterprise IT infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing architecture solutions
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry best practices

Technology Strategy & Roadmap

• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends
• Define and maintain short-term and long-term infrastructure roadmaps
• Provide leadership for modernization and digital transformation initiatives

Capacity Planning & Resilience

• Perform capacity planning across compute, storage, and network resources
• Architect backup, disaster recovery (DR), and high availability (HA) solutions
• Conduct regular DR testing and failover validation

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of infrastructure architecture experience
• Strong expertise in hybrid and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
• Deep knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and data centers
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Chef)
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance
• Experience with enterprise databases and big data platforms
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure Architect)
• Experience in large-scale enterprise transformations
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
