Summary

We are seeking a high-level Healthcare .NET Developer to lead the development of a new web-based registration and inspection system. In this position, you will be responsible for the full development life cycle-from initial requirements analysis and architectural design to unit testing and final deployment.

Logistics & Process

  • Location: Indianapolis, IN (Local candidates only)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
  • Interview Process: Initial technical interview via Teams; final interview via Teams or In-Person.
  • Communication: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with external partners and internal teams.

Core Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Build and maintain robust web applications using C# and the ASP.NET MVC framework.
  • Full SDLC Management: Participate in the complete development life cycle, including technical specification writing and conceptual design.
  • Security & Optimization: Analyze and address security-related issues across multiple programming languages to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers and BAs to prototype, refine, and debug programs while meeting critical project milestones.
  • Problem Solving: Use object-oriented techniques and best practices to solve complex programming challenges independently.

Important Skills & Requirements

  • ASP.NET: 10+ years of current, hands-on experience.
  • C# & MVC: 5+ years of professional development experience.
  • Database: 5+ years of experience with Oracle SQL.
  • Security: 5+ years of experience analyzing and addressing application security risks.
  • Web Services: Proficiency in developing and integrating Web Services.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Bonus: Experience in the Health Industry or knowledge of EDI file formats is a significant plus.
