Title: Sr. Angular Developer

In this role, you will lead the design and development of modern, scalable user interfaces that support critical regulatory and business workflows. You will collaborate closely with engineers, UX designers, product managers, business users, and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality, accessible, and performant front-end solutions.
You will report directly to the Director of Engineering and play a key role in shaping the front-end architecture and UI standards for the platform.
Key Responsibilities Collaboration & Design - Partner with software engineers, UX designers, and product managers to understand backend APIs, data sources, current UI architecture, and existing limitations.
- Work directly with business users and product management to gather and refine UI requirements, translating business needs into thoughtful, scalable technical designs.
- Define and document UI architecture, reusable components, and user workflows.
- Design and help establish a modern front-end infrastructure that supports a scalable, maintainable UI framework.
Development & Implementation - Design and develop responsive, high-quality user interfaces and reusable component libraries using Angular.
- Build data-driven UI features, including data visualization components, intuitive user interaction patterns, and seamless integration with backend APIs and business intelligence tools.
- Ensure applications meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and maintain cross-browser compatibility.
- Apply best practices for performance, maintainability, and testability across the front-end codebase.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing - Document UI components, design patterns, and development standards in internal documentation and knowledge repositories.
- Share best practices, Angular standards, and front-end engineering guidance with other engineers and stakeholders through code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications - 7+ years of professional front-end development experience building scalable, enterprise-grade web applications.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining Angular applications using TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of front-end engineering frameworks, tools, and standards that improve team productivity and code quality.
- 5+ years of experience working with modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React (Angular strongly preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design principles, and CSS frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience integrating front-end applications with backend APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar frameworks for end-to-end testing and test automation.
- Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technical environment.
