Business Process Engineering III with BPMN & Training Focused

Roth Staffing is looking for Business Process Engineering III with Process Mapping & Workflow Documentation Consultant for a Remote role
Hourly Pay Rate: $80.00 -to- $95.00

We are seeking an experienced Business Process Engineer contractor to support a large-scale business process mapping and documentation initiative within our Operations organization.
The consultant will lead process discovery sessions, document complex end-to-end workflows, and help establish consistent business process documentation standards. A key component of the engagement will be coaching and training our Operations Project Team (OPT) on process mapping methodologies, facilitation techniques, and business process best practices.

Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate process discovery workshops with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
* Document current-state and future-state business processes.
* Develop process maps, swimlane diagrams, workflows, and supporting documentation.
* Identify process handoffs, ownership, inputs, outputs, decision points, and system interactions.
* Identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities
* Help standardize process documentation approaches, templates, and best practices.
* Coach and train OPT team members on process mapping, process analysis, and workshop facilitation techniques.
* Support knowledge transfer to enable the internal team to independently perform future process mapping efforts.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of business process mapping or business process engineering experience.
* Insurance or financial services experience is must.
* Proven experience facilitating workshops and documenting complex operational processes.
* Ability to review existing job aids/procedures and convert them into process flows
* Strong experience with BPMN, swim lane diagrams, workflow mapping, and process documentation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to quickly understand and document cross-functional business processes.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience documenting operational processes across multiple teams, systems, and vendors.
* Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), or related certifications.
* Experience training or mentoring teams on business process methodologies.

Desired Deliverables
At the conclusion of the engagement, the consultant will have:
* Completed documentation for prioritized operational processes.
* Delivered professional process maps and supporting documentation, including Level 0 (process landscape), Level 1 (end-to-end process maps), and Level 2 (sub-process maps) with risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities clearly documented.
* Established process mapping standards and templates.
* Trained OPT team members on process mapping and documentation best practices.
* Increased the team's ability to independently facilitate and document future business processes.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have
* 5+ years of business process mapping or business process engineering experience
