Senior ERP/.Net Developer
Location: Remote (EST Time Zone)
Duration: 6+ Months, Contract-to-Hire
SUMMARY
The Senior Solutions Engineer designs, develops, customizes, and integrates ERP solutions, working directly with clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
This role serves as a technical point of contact for clients, leading requirements discussions and delivering solution demonstrations. Strong .NET/C# and SQL experience is required.
MUST-HAVES
- Strong .NET/C# and SQL
- Hands-on ERP development/customization experience
- Strong client-facing communication live client meetings, product demos
- Able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Able to translate client requirements into technical specs
ERP BACKGROUND
- BST's platform is BST11, built for the AEC industry
- Accepted ERP experience: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite
STRONG ERP DIFFERENTIATOR
- Deltek experience direct AEC competitor; BST may integrate with or pull data from client Deltek systems
RESPONSIBILITIES ERP Development & Integration
- Define integration patterns, data flows, and technical standards for ERP customization
- Design, develop, and customize ERP modules, features, workflows, scripts, and reports using .NET/C#, SQL, and related technologies
- Build and maintain integrations between ERP platforms and business applications
Requirements & Client Solutions
- Translate client and business requirements into technical specifications and ERP solutions
- Serve as a technical point of contact for clients and business stakeholders
- Lead requirements discussions, explain technical concepts, and present product and solution demonstrations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align ERP solutions with business needs
Troubleshooting & Quality
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including ERP upgrades and migrations
- Test and debug solutions for reliability, performance, and quality
Project Estimation & Planning
- Estimate development time, resources, costs, and budgets
- Identify project risks and dependencies
Technical Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain technical documentation, including system designs, workflows, and user documentation
- Ensure ERP solutions meet security and regulatory requirements
Performance & Optimization
- Evaluate ERP performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Stay current on ERP technologies and development practices
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of related experience
- Degree in a related field
- Strong hands-on .NET/C# and SQL experience
- Hands-on ERP development and customization experience
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite
- Deltek experience is highly preferred
- Java and Python experience
- JavaScript experience
- Experience with system integrations, REST APIs, ETL tools, and ERP data exchange
- Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and ERP architecture
- Ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable leading requirements discussions and product or solution demonstrations
- Ability to translate client requirements into technical specifications
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to own projects from start to finish and collaborate with technical teams
- Ability to contribute to technical best practices and continuous improvement
