Title: IT ERP Business Analyst

Job Purpose:
The IT ERP Business Analyst serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, responsible for analyzing, designing, and supporting scalable ERP solutions that enable efficient, compliant, and data‐driven operations. This role leads business process analysis, requirements definition, and functional design for ERP platforms—primarily Microsoft Dynamics 365—ensuring solutions align with business objectives, support long‐term growth, and drive continuous improvement.
The Business Analyst plays a critical role in ERP implementations, enhancements, and integrations, guiding change management efforts and working closely with end users to ensure successful adoption and sustained value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery workshops and requirements‐gathering sessions with business stakeholders, with a primary focus on ERP supply chain processes.
- Analyze, document, and optimize current‐state and future‐state business processes, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable functional specifications and solution designs within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Design ERP and integration solutions that balance configuration and customization, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and long‐term business value.
- Lead functional design and business alignment efforts supporting ERP implementations and platform transitions.
- Partner closely with developers, integration teams, architects, and vendors to ensure business requirements are accurately reflected in technical solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned ERP modules, advising on system capabilities, best practices, and impacts of design decisions.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non‐technical stakeholders, clearly communicating requirements, tradeoffs, impacts, and decisions.
- Conduct system testing activities, including functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of integrations and configurations.
- Develop and support user training, documentation, and change‐readiness materials to ensure successful adoption.
- Provide post‐implementation support, issue triage, and enhancement recommendations to maintain system stability and usability.
- Maintain system and solution documentation, including configurations, workflows, functional designs, and user guides.
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, and delivery milestones to support on‐time, on‐budget execution.
- Support change management efforts, including stakeholder identification, communication planning, and adoption strategies.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts related to ERP changes and escalate appropriately.
- Ensure ERP solutions align with organizational standards, security requirements, and regulatory expectations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system utilization through automation and best practices.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
- Experience supporting ERP platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to process‐map and document workflows using standard tools (e.g., Visio).
- Experience supporting change management and stakeholder communication.
Preferred:
- Experience with Agile and/or DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with end‐to‐end ERP implementations or major system upgrades.
- Exposure to Supply Chain or Warehouse Management environments.
- PMP, CBAP, or related BA/PM certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities.
