Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with 12+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing complex database solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Oracle databases, strong performance tuning skills, and experience working in enterprise-level environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
• Optimize and tune SQL queries for high performance and scalability
• Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues
• Work closely with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements
• Develop data models and database design solutions
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
• Handle large datasets and implement efficient data processing solutions
• Support production issues and provide timely resolution
• Mentor junior developers and guide team members

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
• Strong expertise in:
  • SQL & PL/SQL programming
  • Performance tuning (Execution plans, indexing, partitioning)
  • Stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers
• Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/12c/19c
• Strong knowledge of database design, normalization, and data modeling
• Experience in handling large-scale enterprise databases
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Experience with version control tools (Git/SVN)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, ODI, etc.)
• Exposure to data warehousing concepts
• Knowledge of Oracle performance tuning tools (AWR, ASH reports)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Banking/Finance/Healthcare domain experience (if applicable)
