Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise modernization initiative involving the transition of critical business functions from legacy systems to modern technology platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to gather requirements, analyze business processes, identify risks and dependencies, and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and technical requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Perform current-state and future-state process analysis.
• Develop process flows, workflow diagrams, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and dependency analysis.
• Create and maintain requirements traceability documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze data flows, integrations, interfaces, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, development, infrastructure, security, data, and vendors.
• Support system modernization, migration, testing, implementation, and operational readiness activities.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, presentations, and business recommendations.
• Assist in identifying project risks, assumptions, issues, and mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience on complex enterprise IT projects.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business, functional, technical, data, reporting, and interface requirements.
• Expertise in process analysis, gap analysis, impact analysis, and dependency analysis.
• Experience creating requirements traceability matrices and supporting the full SDLC.
• Strong experience documenting user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, business rules, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Experience analyzing system integrations, data flows, and reporting dependencies.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale legacy system modernization or migration initiatives.
• Experience within healthcare, public sector, human services, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of APIs, data warehouses, batch processing, reporting solutions, and enterprise architectures.
• Familiarity with project governance frameworks and enterprise IT standards.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe are a plus.
