A Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP) Implementation Analyst is responsible for implementing, configuring, testing, and supporting the Finastra GPP payment hub for banks and financial institutions. The role combines payments domain expertise with functional and technical implementation skills.

Role: Implementation Analyst – Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP)

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements from banking clients.
• Configure Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP) according to customer requirements.
• Participate in requirement workshops and prepare:
• Functional Requirement Specification (FRS)
• Solution Design Documents
• Interface Requirement Documents
• Configure payment workflows, routing rules, and business parameters.
• Support integration with banking systems such as:
• Core Banking
• SWIFT
• RTGS
• NEFT
• ACH
• SEPA
• Instant Payments
• Perform data mapping and interface validation.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment.
• Investigate issues using logs, trace files, and SQL queries.
• Work closely with developers, QA teams, project managers, and customer stakeholders.
• Provide post-production support and participate in upgrades and release management.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Finastra Global PAYplus (GPP Classic or GPP SP).
• Strong knowledge of payment processing.
• Understanding of:
• SWIFT MT and MX messages
• ISO 20022
• SEPA
• RTGS
• ACH
• Cross-border payments
• SQL/Oracle database knowledge.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with defect tracking and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8+ years of experience in banking payments or payment hub implementations.
• Experience in Finastra GPP implementation, migration, upgrade, or production support.
• Familiarity with regulatory payment standards and payment modernization initiatives.
