SNI Technology has partnered with a client in the DFW area seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join a newly created team focused on building next-generation AI agent solutions. This is a highly hands-on individual contributor role centered around the development, implementation, and optimization of practical AI-driven applications and autonomous agent frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Databricks, Generative AI technologies, and real-world AI agent development. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building and deploying scalable AI solutions rather than focusing strictly on architecture, strategy, or leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows for enterprise applications
- Develop scalable GenAI solutions utilizing modern LLM frameworks and orchestration tools
- Work extensively within Databricks to support AI/ML model development, data processing, and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and AI-driven business solutions
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems, APIs, and data platforms
- Optimize AI models and workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Participate in proof-of-concepts, experimentation, and production implementation of AI solutions
Required Qualifications- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
- Strong experience with Generative AI technologies and LLM-based applications
- Experience building and implementing AI agents or autonomous AI workflows in production environments
- Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML development frameworks
- Experience integrating AI solutions with APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems
- Strong understanding of machine learning pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering
- Ability to operate independently in a highly technical individual contributor role
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar agent frameworks
- Experience with Azure AI, OpenAI, or cloud-based AI services
- Familiarity with RAG architectures and vector search technologies
- Experience deploying scalable AI applications in enterprise environments
