OverviewThis is a hands-on leadership role supporting data center and telecom infrastructure projects. The role is approximately
70% field / 30% administrative, so it requires someone comfortable both on-site with crews and managing project documentation.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage field crews (typically 11-25 technicians)
- Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure project execution
- Maintain daily reports, logs, and schedule updates
- Track and approve crew timesheets
- Conduct toolbox talks and lead team meetings
- Coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders
- Ensure productivity, sequencing, and adherence to project timelines
- Maintain company equipment with a "company-first" mindset
- Represent the company in meetings and communicate with clients when needed
- Handle conflict resolution with customers and trade partners
Required Experience- 5-7+ years of telecom or construction project leadership experience
- Experience leading telecom/cabling teams or projects
- Experience with:
- Cable installation (Cat5, structured cabling, punchdown)
- Daily reporting, logs, and schedule tracking
- Ability to work closely with technicians, PMs, and leadership teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred / Additional Qualifications- Experience across multiple disciplines (telecom, electrical, security, fire alarm)
- Exposure to construction processes (RFI/RFQ, inspections, sequencing, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar
- Ability to manage high-pressure environments and maintain professionalism
Pay Range- $35 - $41/hour (depending on experience)
Travel- Occasional travel to South Hill (approx. 1.5 hours from Richmond)
- Travel is typically same-day, but:
- 2 hours paid travel time included
- Per diem provided if overnight stay is required

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.00/hr.
