Job Title: IT Portfolio & Financial AnalystLocation: Lithia, FL 33547Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT Portfolio & Financial Analyst to support IT budgeting, financial planning, portfolio governance, and technology investment management. This role partners with IT leadership, Finance, Procurement, and project teams to provide financial analysis, portfolio reporting, forecasting, and strategic insights that drive informed business decisions and maximize technology investments.
Key ResponsibilitiesIT Financial Management- Support IT budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Analyze IT spend across labor, contractors, software, infrastructure, cloud, telecom, vendors, and projects.
- Perform budget-to-actual and variance analysis, identifying trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Partner with Finance on month-end and year-end financial activities.
- Provide financial recommendations to support IT leadership decision-making.
Portfolio & Investment Management:- Support project intake, prioritization, governance, and investment planning processes.
- Maintain portfolio financial data, funding status, business cases, and value realization metrics.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, resource demand, risks, and portfolio performance.
- Help align technology investments with business priorities and strategic goals.
Reporting & Analytics:- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports on IT spend, portfolio health, and financial performance.
- Prepare recurring reports for IT leadership and governance committees.
- Translate complex financial and project data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Vendor & Resource Analysis- Analyze contractor, consulting, managed services, software licensing, and vendor expenditures.
- Support vendor budget planning, contract reviews, renewals, and procurement decisions.
- Assess the financial impact of vendor and sourcing strategies.
Process Improvement- Enhance financial reporting, portfolio governance, and data quality processes.
- Support reporting automation and portfolio management tool improvements.
- Maintain governance documentation, reporting standards, and templates.
QualificationsRequired- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT financial management, FP&A, PMO, portfolio management, or technology business operations.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and executive-level presentations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
