Location: San Diego, California (Onsite)

Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense --Secret clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.
Role Overview
This position is for a Linux server administrator on a Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government Customer. The selected candidate will work as a Linux System Administrator maintaining a development environment that supports a waveform development network. The role requires the ability to work independently and coordinate tasking with team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform RHEL 9 or later system administration.
- Write Python scripts to automate processes.
- Manage and use containers.
- Install CUDA driver, Protobuf, and Zmg packets in a Red Hat environment.
- Utilize Gnuradio and Matlab.
- Use Ansible and Kickstart for configuration management.
- Use ACAS, Grype, and ClamAV in a container environment.
- Manage Network Attached Storage.
- Perform mitigation of vulnerabilities found by ACAS scans.
- Apply DISA STIGs.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3 Years of Experience with Linux Systems and Podman/KVM. Experience with Linux and containerization environments.
Certifications: An active IAT Level II certification is required. This includes one of the following: Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP). Additionally, one of the following Linux certifications is required: RHCSA (preferred), LPIC-2, LPIC-3, RHCE, or Linux+.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification.
- Experience with the IAVM process.
