Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with over 10 years of experience in SaaS ecommerce and subscription billing domains. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Zuora and other subscription billing platforms, with a proven track record of driving requirements, system analysis, and solution design for large-scale implementations and enhancements.
This role requires strong analytical capabilities, deep domain knowledge, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions across subscription management and billing platforms.
Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements for SaaS ecommerce and subscription billing solutions, with a primary focus on Zuora.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define functional and technical requirements aligned with business goals.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system diagrams.
• Analyze and document Order-to-Cash workflows, including subscription lifecycle, billing, invoicing, and revenue processes.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements, including integrations across SaaS platforms.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in existing systems and processes, and recommend optimized solutions.
• Support system integration efforts by documenting data flows, dependencies, and interface requirements.
• Participate in solution design discussions, ensuring scalability, feasibility, and alignment with business objectives.
• Assist in UAT planning, test case creation, and validation of delivered solutions against requirements.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and seamless execution.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and business processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in SaaS ecommerce environments.
• Mandatory experience with Zuora (subscription billing), including requirements gathering for implementations or enhancements.
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash processes and subscription billing workflows.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows across SaaS platforms.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Salesforce and NetSuite ecosystems (preferred but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with financial systems and SaaS billing models.
• Experience working in distributed/global team environments.

Work Environment

• Fully remote role
• Must work EST hours, ensuring overlap with early PST and offshore teams
